I think creating a healthy food relationship is the most important thing for me to get a handle right now. Last night I made a list of all the basic whole foods we like. I would love to hear about your list and what didn’t make the cut. Mushrooms, kimchi, sauerkraut and cilantro did not make ours. I know that counting calories does not work for me. It is too time consuming and puts too much focus on food. Instead, I am going to focus on eating whole foods right now and start to create a healthier relationship with food, beginning with NO COUNTING CALORIES for me. Once I embrace whole foods better, I may begin to intermittent fast occasionally or even track the quantity of carbs that are not fruits and vegetables if need be. I am open for wherever this journey takes me.
